PhotoShield is built and maintained by Hexalaxy Ltd. as a commercial application. PhotoShield is provided by Hexalaxy Ltd. and is intended for use as is.

If you choose to use PhotoShield, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving PhotoShield. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy. The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms & Conditions.
PhotoShield was developed with user privacy in mind. Collection of anonymized user information is strictly opt-in, and only for the purposes of collecting software crash reports should a user grant the application that privilege. These crash reports are used by Hexalaxy Ltd. to fix issues with the software and improve the application for future releases. At any time the user can change their crash report opt-in preference from the application Settings menu. PhotoShield is fully GDPR compliant.
Based on legitimate interests (as per Article 6 lit. f. GDPR) PhotoShield uses third-party services (via user opt-in only) provided by Google LLC to collect and store data. This data is used to improve and maintain PhotoShield. This data is transferred to, stored and processed in the United States and other countries where Google services operate. Google is certified under the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield frameworks. Should a user choose to opt-in and provide Hexalaxy Ltd. with anonymous software crash reports, the app will collect anonymized user information via the third party service listed below in accordance with their privacy policy:
Should a user grant PhotoShield the privilege of collecting anonymous crash reports, the following information is captured by Crashlytics:
How it helps: Firebase Crashlytics uses crash stack traces to associate crashes with a project, send email alerts to project members and display them in the Firebase Console, and help Firebase customers debug crashes. It uses Crashlytics Installation UUIDs to measure the number of users impacted by a crash and minidump data to process NDK crashes. The minidump data is stored while the crash session is being processed and then discarded. Refer to Examples of stored device information for more detail on the types of user information gathered.
Retention: Firebase Crashlytics retains crash stack traces, extracted minidump data, and associated identifiers (including Crashlytics Installation UUIDs) for 90 days.
Media that is imported to the PhotoShield app will be stored solely on your device unless you specifically choose to export it. Note: your media may be copied to iCloud as part of a device backup if you have iCloud Backups enabled.
We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. As no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
